Amazon is hiring an Engineering Technician to maintain and troubleshoot mission-critical technology infrastructure in Sparks, Nevada. You'll work with electrical and mechanical systems to ensure 99.999% uptime for AWS data centers.
You are an entry-level Engineering Technician with a strong foundation in electrical and mechanical systems. You have hands-on experience troubleshooting and maintaining critical infrastructure, ensuring that technology operates seamlessly. Your attention to detail and problem-solving skills make you a valuable asset in maintaining high uptime standards. You are eager to learn and grow within a dynamic team environment, contributing to the success of mission-critical facilities.
Experience with data center operations or related fields is a plus. Familiarity with diesel generators, UPS systems, and three-phase electrical systems will help you excel in this role. You are comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and are committed to safety and efficiency in all tasks.
As an Engineering Technician at Amazon, you will be responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting various electrical and mechanical systems within our data centers.
