What you'll do

As a Backend Engineer Intern at Glovo, you will be embedded in a cross-functional team, collaborating with experienced backend, web, and mobile developers. You will participate in the Tech Accelerator Programme, which is designed to provide you with hands-on experience in backend development. Your primary focus will be on learning and applying Java and Kotlin technologies to contribute to customer-centric projects.

You will engage in coding, debugging, and testing backend services, gaining practical experience in building scalable applications. You will also have the opportunity to participate in code reviews, where you can learn best practices and improve your coding skills. Throughout the internship, you will work closely with product stakeholders to understand user needs and translate them into technical solutions.

The internship lasts for six months, during which you will have the chance to develop your technical skills and gain insights into the software development lifecycle. Successful interns may transition into full-time Junior Backend Engineer roles, allowing you to continue your career journey with Glovo.
