We’re looking for a experienced Cloud Solution Architect Cloud and AI (CSA) with deep expertise in data platforms and AI to help customers build secure, scalable, and AI-ready solutions on Microsoft Azure, who is passionate about solving complex challenges and helping enterprise customers accelerate their digital transformation.  

As a Cloud Solution Architect, Cloud & AI in iCSU, you will design, land, and scale AI-powered application architectures across Azure (including Azure OpenAI Service, AI Services, AKS/Containers, Data & App Platform, and GitHub) to accelerate Microsoft Cloud consumption. You will lead Customer funded technical engagements, remove blockers, and industrialize reusable patterns and accelerators that bring scale, agility, and cross-solution coverage to our largest Global Accounts—coordinating delivery across international downstream locations for a seamless, globally coordinated customer experience.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities 

  • Engage with customer IT and business leaders to understand their application, data, and AI priorities, and design secure, scalable solutions that drive business value and customer satisfaction. 

  • Lead technical engagements across architecture design, Proof of Concepts (POCs), and Minimum Viable Products (MVPs) to accelerate adoption of Azure AI, App Services, GitHub, and data platforms. 

  • Own the end-to-end technical delivery results, ensuring completeness and accuracy of consumption and customer success plans in collaboration with the CSAM. 

  • Drive next best actions and generate incremental pipeline from each engagement, aligning with Unified Enterprise Support (ES) priorities. 

  • Deliver repeatable intellectual property (IP) and contribute to centralized IP development to accelerate deployment and achieve targeted outcomes. 

  • Provide delivery oversight and escalation support for key Factory engagements across AI and App Innovation projects. 

  • Lead the health, resiliency, security, and optimization of mission-critical workloads, ensuring readiness for production-scale AI use cases. 

  • Act as the Voice of the Customer by sharing insights and feedback with engineering teams to influence product improvements and remove adoption blockers. 

  • Support customer skilling through technical workshops, readiness activities, and recommendations that ensure solution performance, maintainability, and reliability. 

  • Maintain deep technical expertise and stay current with Azure, AI, GitHub, and cloud-native development trends, while contributing to internal and external technical communities. 

  • Be accredited and certified to deliver with advanced and expert-level proficiency in priority workloads including Azure AI Foundry, AKS, App Service, Cosmos DB, Azure SQL, PostgreSQL, APIM, and GitHub. 

  • Demonstrate a growth mindset by continuously aligning your skills to customer needs, contributing to knowledge sharing, and mentoring others to accelerate customer outcomes. 



Qualifications

Qualifications 

Required/Minimum Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field AND 4+ years of experience in cloud/infrastructure technologies, information technology (IT) consulting/support, systems administration, network operations, software development/support, technology solutions, practice development, architecture, and/or consulting 

  • OR equivalent experience 

  • Proven experience architecting and implementing enterprise-grade cloud-native solutions with AI capabilities – preferably pre-existing knowledge of Azure. 

  • Proven experience implementing cloud-native applications in Python or .NET with generative AI capabilities. 

  • Solid experience in any of the following: 

  • Azure AI Foundry (Models, Agent Service, Semantic Kernel, Search, ML, SDK) 

  • Copilot Studio 

  • Application Platform/Containers/Serverless (App Service, AKS, ACA, ARO, Functions) 

  • Azure Integration Service (APIM, Logic Apps) 

  • DevOps (CI/CD, Azure DevOps, DevSecOps) 

  • GitHub (Copilot, Enterprise, Adv Security, Actions, Codespaces) 

  • 3P GPU/AI Infra/BYOAIM 

  • Data (Cosmos DB, Azure SQL, Azure Database for PostgreSQL, Fabric, Databricks) 

  • Languages: Business fluency in Cantonese, English, additional languages like Mandarin are a plus. 

 

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field AND 8+ years experience in technical architect, consulting, design and implementation, and/or sales 

  • OR equivalent experience 

  • Sound experience working in a customer-facing role (e.g., internal and/or external). 

  • Experience implementing hands-on Proof of Concepts (PoC), Minimum Viable Products (MVPs) using Copilot Studio and / or with Microsoft Teams Extensibility. 

  • Passion in accelerated development workflows leveraging AI-first software development environments (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Claude Code). 

  • Breadth of technical experience in cloud solutions and knowledge in foundational security, infrastructure and network design, and subject matter expertise in data analytics and big data processing. 

  • Technical Certification in Cloud (e.g., Azure, Amazon Web Services, Google, security certifications)
