Overview

Illumio is seeking a Senior Sales Engineer to develop and nurture customer relationships across Italy. You'll present Illumio's solutions through live presentations and webinars, focusing on creating valuable deals. This role requires strong communication and technical skills in cybersecurity.

Who you are

You have a strong background in sales engineering, ideally with experience in cybersecurity solutions. Your ability to build relationships with customers is exceptional, and you thrive in collaborative environments where you can work closely with sales and technical teams. You understand the importance of tailoring presentations and demos to meet customer needs, ensuring that you effectively communicate the value of the solutions you represent. You are driven by results and have a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets. Your passion for technology and security enables you to engage with clients confidently, addressing their concerns and demonstrating how Illumio's solutions can enhance their operational resilience.

Desirable

Experience in the cybersecurity industry is a plus, as is familiarity with Zero Trust principles. You may have worked with hybrid multi-cloud environments and understand the challenges organizations face in containing cyber threats. A background in technical sales or pre-sales engineering will help you excel in this role, as will any experience with live demonstrations and customer engagement strategies.

What you'll do

As a Senior Sales Engineer at Illumio, you will play a critical role in the sales process by presenting our innovative breach containment solutions to potential customers. You will conduct live presentations, webinars, and participate in trade shows to showcase the capabilities of our platform. Your expertise will be essential in tailoring technology proofing activities, such as demos and proofs of value (POVs), to align with customer requirements throughout the sales cycle. You will collaborate closely with the sales team to develop mutually beneficial deals, leveraging your discovery skills to understand customer needs and challenges. Your performance will be measured against revenue expectations, and you will be expected to contribute to the overall growth of the company by driving customer adoption of our solutions.
