Overview

Carvana is seeking an Experienced Auto Technician to perform extensive repairs and diagnostics on various vehicles. This role requires a minimum of 5 years of professional automotive repair experience and offers a $6000 sign-on bonus.

Job Description

Who you are

You have a minimum of 5 years of professional automotive repair experience, demonstrating your expertise in diagnosing and repairing a wide range of vehicles. Your background includes extensive repairs and heavy engine work, showcasing your ability to handle complex automotive issues with confidence. You are skilled in advanced vehicle diagnostics and have experience repairing advanced vehicle electrical issues, ensuring that you can tackle any challenge that comes your way. Your knowledge extends to installing, repairing, and replacing vehicle refrigerant and recovery systems, making you a versatile asset in the automotive field. You are familiar with working on all makes and models, including electric and hybrid vehicles, which reflects your adaptability in a rapidly evolving industry.

Desirable

While not required, any additional certifications such as ASE would be a plus, as would experience with high-tech tools and equipment commonly used in modern automotive repair shops. Your ability to work well in a team environment and communicate effectively with colleagues and customers will further enhance your contributions to the Carvana team.

What you'll do

As an Experienced Auto Technician at Carvana, you will be responsible for performing a variety of automotive repairs and diagnostics. You will utilize state-of-the-art tools in one of our high-tech Inspection Centers, ensuring that you have the resources needed to deliver high-quality service. Your day-to-day tasks will include diagnosing vehicle issues, conducting repairs, and performing routine maintenance on a diverse range of vehicles. You will also be expected to stay updated on the latest automotive technologies and repair techniques, allowing you to provide the best service possible to our customers.

In addition to your technical responsibilities, you will have the opportunity to mentor entry-level technicians, sharing your knowledge and expertise to help them grow in their careers. You will play a key role in maintaining the high standards of service that Carvana is known for, contributing to our mission of revolutionizing the automotive retail experience.
