Business Intelligence Intern

We are looking for a highly motivated Business Intelligence Analyst Intern to join our team. In this role, you’ll support the development of data-driven insights by partnering with cross-functional teams, building dashboards in Tableau, and ensuring the accuracy and clarity of our data sources and metrics. Key Responsibilities

• Partner with various departments to understand their reporting, analytics, and KPI needs.
• Translate business questions and requirements into clear analytical tasks and dashboard specifications.
• Assist in designing, developing, and maintaining Tableau dashboards and reports with a strong focus on usability and clarity.
• Prepare mock-ups or wireframes for dashboards before development to align expectations with stakeholders.
• Conduct data validation to ensure completeness, accuracy, and consistency across data sources and published dashboards.
• Support root-cause analysis when data discrepancies or anomalies are identified.
• Document data sources, transformation logic, metric definitions, and KPI calculation methodologies.
• Maintain and update internal BI documentation, including data dictionaries and reporting guides.
• Help improve existing dashboards by refining visualizations, optimizing performance, or enhancing interactivity.
• Support ad-hoc data analysis requests from cross-functional teams.
• Assist with quality assurance and user acceptance testing before dashboards are released.
