Amazon is seeking a Principal Account Executive to lead relationships with major Hardlines/Home advertisers. You'll collaborate with marketing and media teams to drive business growth and enhance customer experiences. This role requires strong relationship management skills and experience in advertising.
You have a proven track record in account management, particularly in the advertising sector, with a focus on building and maintaining C-level relationships. Your experience includes developing joint business plans and driving the inclusion of advertising solutions in media planning. You are adept at interfacing with various teams, including marketing, media, and ad tech, to solve complex marketing challenges. You are comfortable with business travel across the US to meet clients and stakeholders, ensuring that you maintain strong connections and understand their needs.
You possess excellent communication skills, allowing you to articulate strategies and insights effectively to both internal teams and external clients. Your analytical mindset enables you to leverage data and insights to inform decision-making and drive results. You thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with cross-functional teams to achieve shared goals. You are passionate about enhancing customer experiences through innovative advertising solutions and are committed to delivering meaningful results for your clients.
Experience in the Hardlines/Home category is a plus, as it will help you understand the unique challenges and opportunities within this sector. Familiarity with programmatic advertising and ad tech solutions will enhance your ability to provide valuable insights to clients. A background in digital marketing or media planning will also be beneficial in this role, as it will allow you to navigate the complexities of advertising strategies effectively.
As the Principal Account Executive, you will lead the relationship with one of Amazon Ads’ largest Hardlines/Home advertisers, working directly with their marketing and media teams. You will develop joint business plans that align with their advertising goals and drive the inclusion of Amazon Ads in their media planning. Your role will involve interfacing with programmatic and ad tech teams to ensure that clients are leveraging the full breadth of Amazon's analytics and insights offerings.
You will be responsible for identifying and addressing clients' marketing and media challenges, using your expertise to provide tailored solutions that enhance their advertising strategies. You will collaborate with internal partner teams across Retail, AdTech, Measurement, and Product to deliver proactive business insights and drive results. Your ability to build strong relationships will be key to your success, as you will work closely with clients to understand their needs and deliver exceptional service.
