Samsara • Remote - PA
Samsara is hiring a Mid Market Account Executive to drive sales of their IoT solutions to mid-sized customers. You'll engage with executives and manage complex sales processes. This role requires experience in sales and a strong understanding of customer needs.
You have a proven track record in sales, particularly in engaging with mid-sized customers and understanding their unique needs. You thrive in a role that requires building relationships with multiple stakeholders, including executives and CXOs. Your experience includes managing trials and negotiations, ensuring that you can effectively communicate the value of IoT solutions to potential clients. You are comfortable working remotely and can adapt to different time zones, particularly EST and CST. You are also willing to travel approximately 25% of the time to meet clients and close deals.
In this role, you will be responsible for driving Samsara's business in the mid-market segment. You will engage with potential customers to demonstrate the benefits of sensor data and how it can transform their operations. Your typical sales will range from $20k to $100k, requiring you to manage proof of concepts and navigate complex pricing negotiations. You will work closely with the product team to ensure that customer feedback is incorporated into future product developments. Additionally, you will be expected to maintain a robust sales pipeline and report on your progress regularly. Your role will also involve collaborating with marketing to develop strategies that resonate with mid-sized businesses.
