Carvana is seeking a Senior Autobody Technician to perform extensive bodywork and train other technicians. This role requires a minimum of 5 years of professional automotive bodywork experience.
You have a minimum of 5 years of professional automotive bodywork experience, demonstrating your expertise in various bodywork techniques. As an Experienced Heavy Body Technician, you are skilled in heavy plastic welding, metal pulling, straightening, and stud welding. Your background includes extensive experience with roof and rocker panel repairs, as well as large area heavy bodywork, including Bondo repair. You are a team player who is committed to delivering exceptional customer experiences and are willing to work mandatory overtime when necessary.
You possess a valid driver’s license and can read, write, speak, and understand English. Your ability to train other autobody technicians showcases your leadership skills and dedication to fostering a collaborative work environment. You are eager to utilize state-of-the-art tools in a high-tech Inspection Center, contributing to Carvana's mission of revolutionizing the automotive retail experience.
In this role, you will perform extensive bodywork on multiple panels, ensuring that vehicles meet Carvana's high standards for quality and safety. You will be responsible for training and mentoring other autobody technicians, sharing your knowledge and expertise to help them develop their skills. Your work will involve heavy plastic welding and metal pulling, as well as straightening and shrinking techniques to restore vehicles to their original condition.
You will engage in roof and rocker panel repairs, tackling large area heavy bodywork with precision and care. Your attention to detail will be crucial as you perform Bondo repairs and other bodywork tasks. You will collaborate closely with your team to ensure that all vehicles are prepared for delivery, contributing to Carvana's commitment to exceptional customer service.
