You have 5+ years of experience in site reliability engineering, with a strong focus on building and maintaining resilient systems. You are comfortable with incident management and have experience in automating processes to reduce toil and improve efficiency.

Your technical expertise includes proficiency in AWS and Linux, as well as containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools such as Kubernetes. You are skilled in programming languages like Python and Java, which you use to develop tools and scripts that enhance system reliability. You understand monitoring and alerting practices, utilizing tools like Prometheus and Grafana to ensure system health and performance.

You thrive in collaborative environments and enjoy working closely with cross-functional teams to drive improvements in system reliability. You are a strong communicator, able to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders, and you are committed to fostering a culture of reliability within your team.

Desirable

What you'll do

As a Senior Site Reliability Engineer at Netflix, you will play a critical role in ensuring the reliability and performance of our Ads systems. Your work will directly influence revenue and user experience, making your contributions vital to the success of the Ads business.

You will also participate in on-call rotations, providing support during incidents and helping to drive improvements based on lessons learned. Your role will involve mentoring junior engineers, sharing your knowledge and expertise to help them grow in their careers. You will contribute to a culture of continuous improvement, advocating for best practices in reliability engineering across the organization.
