Job Description

Who you are

You have a strong background in data science, with experience in machine learning and statistical modeling — you've successfully applied these skills to solve complex problems and generate actionable insights. Your analytical mindset allows you to identify opportunities for improvement in performance measurement systems and forecasting models.

You are adept at collaborating with cross-functional teams and internal stakeholders — your communication skills enable you to convey complex data-driven insights in a clear and impactful manner. You understand the importance of data in driving operational excellence and business growth, particularly in the context of delivery services.

Your experience includes designing and implementing data science solutions that optimize operations — you have a proven track record of enhancing performance measurement and capacity planning across large networks. You are passionate about using data to support small business owners and improve customer experiences.

Desirable

Experience with advanced machine learning techniques and algorithms is a plus — you are familiar with the latest trends and technologies in the field. A background in analytics within logistics or delivery services would be beneficial, as it provides context for the challenges faced by delivery service partners.

What you'll do

In this role, you will develop science solutions for DSP performance, focusing on optimizing operations and enhancing capacity planning across the global DSP network. You will leverage your expertise in machine learning to apply advanced techniques that improve DSP analytics and forecasting models.

You will analyze sentiment risks and enhance existing algorithms that support DSP program management — your insights will directly impact scorecard metrics and capacity reliability models. You will work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure that the solutions you develop align with business objectives and drive success for small business owners.

Your responsibilities will include designing experiments to validate your models and solutions, as well as communicating findings to various teams within Amazon. You will be expected to stay updated on industry trends and continuously seek opportunities to improve the analytics capabilities of the DSP program.
