You are a pre-penultimate university student, graduating in 2028 or 2029, eager to explore a career in technology, trading, or research. You are ready to immerse yourself in a five-day program that will ignite your potential and provide you with unique insights into the world of trading and technology. You are open to learning and excited about the opportunity to connect with industry professionals and recent graduates who can share their experiences with you.
During the FutureFocus program at Optiver, you will be guided by former traders and engineers through the intricacies of market making. You will engage in a mix of hands-on and classroom learning, empowering you to thrive in the world of trading and technology. You will have the opportunity to kickstart your journey as a developer, exploring various tech career pathways. You will discover cutting-edge techniques that keep Optiver at the forefront of the global financial markets and witness their world-class trading systems in action. Additionally, you will learn the core fundamentals of trading and build trading strategies for deployment in a virtual market. Throughout the program, you will receive mentorship and support from in-house trainers, ensuring you have the resources needed to succeed.
