What you'll do

As an Engineering Operation Technician at Amazon, you will be responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting various systems within our data centers. You will work with stand-by diesel generators, switch gear, UPSs, PDUs, and other critical equipment to ensure seamless operations. Your role will involve hands-on electrical and mechanical troubleshooting, where you will diagnose issues and implement solutions to maintain our infrastructure's reliability. You will collaborate with a team of engineers to support the design, planning, and operation of AWS global infrastructure, contributing to our mission of providing exceptional uptime for our customers.

You will also participate in routine maintenance and inspections of equipment, ensuring that all systems are functioning optimally. Your proactive approach will help identify potential issues before they escalate, allowing for timely interventions. You will document your findings and contribute to the continuous improvement of operational processes, sharing insights with your team to enhance overall efficiency.
