Lattice is hiring a Senior Software Engineer for their Developer Platform team to enhance product reliability and performance. You'll work with TypeScript and AWS to improve cloud infrastructure and deployment systems. This role requires strong collaboration skills and experience in observability practices.
You have 5+ years of experience in software engineering, particularly in building and maintaining robust applications. Your expertise in TypeScript allows you to write maintainable and performant code, and you have a strong understanding of cloud infrastructure, especially AWS. You thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with product managers and designers to create exceptional user experiences. You are familiar with Infrastructure-as-code practices and have experience improving deployment systems. Your background includes a focus on observability and incident management, ensuring that applications run smoothly and efficiently.
Experience with modern deployment practices and CI/CD pipelines is a plus. Familiarity with observability tools and techniques will help you excel in this role. You are eager to lead and mentor a team, fostering a culture of reliability and performance within the Developer Platform team.
In this role, you will partner closely with product engineering teams to promote best practices in the Developer Platform. You will instrument and monitor service code to enhance reliability and performance, particularly focusing on TypeScript applications. Your responsibilities will include implementing and recommending resilient infrastructure solutions for Lattice's SaaS applications. You will lead a team that collaborates with product engineers, ensuring they can build and maintain their applications reliably. You will contribute to improvements in cloud infrastructure, leveraging AWS and other technologies to enhance performance and reliability. Your expertise in observability will guide the team in incident management and operational practices, ensuring that the applications meet high standards of performance.
