Job Description

Who you are

You have a keen eye for detail and a passion for quality assurance — your experience in inspecting materials ensures that you can uphold high standards in the public safety industry. You are self-motivated and eager to contribute to a mission that matters, such as protecting life through technology. Your ability to read and interpret technical data and specifications, including 2D prints and CAD, allows you to conduct meaningful inspections and tests effectively.

You are familiar with various testing methods, including push and pull testing using specialized equipment, and you understand the importance of both non-destructive and destructive testing in qualifying materials. Your background equips you to aid in root cause investigations, ensuring that any quality issues are addressed promptly and effectively. You thrive in a collaborative environment, working closely with your team to drive real change and improve processes.

Desirable

Experience with quality control in manufacturing or a related field is a plus, as is familiarity with industry standards and regulations. You are comfortable using a wide range of inspection tools and techniques, and you are always looking for ways to enhance your skills and knowledge in quality assurance.

What you'll do

As a Quality Inspector II at Axon, you will be responsible for conducting routine and non-routine tests and inspections of raw, in-process, and finished goods. Your role will involve evaluating quality and performance to ensure that all products meet Axon's high standards. You will read and interpret technical data and specifications to conduct meaningful inspections and tests, ensuring that all materials are compliant with established guidelines.

You will perform push and pull testing using Mark-10 equipment to qualify parts and gather data for engineering purposes. Additionally, you will conduct both non-destructive and destructive testing on materials to qualify them and assist in root cause investigations when necessary. Your attention to detail will be crucial in identifying any discrepancies and ensuring that corrective actions are taken.

You will work onsite at our Mesa Skybridge location, reporting directly to the Quality Control Supervisor. Your contributions will play a vital role in maintaining the integrity of Axon's products, which are essential for public safety. You will collaborate with various teams to ensure that quality standards are met and continuously improved.

What we offer

At Axon, you will be part of a mission-driven company that values your contributions and encourages personal growth. We offer a supportive work environment where you can take ownership of your role and drive meaningful change. You will have the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology and be part of a team that is dedicated to making a positive impact in society. We believe in empowering our employees to do their best work and provide the resources necessary for your success.
