Benchling is seeking a Strategic Account Executive to drive new business and build relationships with key stakeholders in the biotechnology sector. This role requires strong sales skills and the ability to generate leads effectively.
You are a motivated and results-driven professional with a strong background in sales, particularly in the technology or biotechnology sectors. You have experience in building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders across various personas within an account, ensuring successful sales outcomes. You understand the importance of pipeline generation and are skilled at identifying new business opportunities. You leverage data to inform decision-making and ensure predictable revenue outcomes, consistently achieving your revenue targets.
You possess excellent communication skills, allowing you to effectively convey the value of the solutions you represent. You are comfortable engaging with multiple personas within the prospect/customer base and can navigate complex sales cycles with ease. You are driven by results and have a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals.
Experience in the biotechnology industry or a related field is a plus, as is familiarity with R&D processes and technologies. You may have a background in solution selling, which allows you to tailor your approach to meet the unique needs of each client. A strong understanding of sales forecasting and pipeline management will further enhance your effectiveness in this role.
In this role, you will be responsible for driving new business within your territory, focusing on building and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders. You will create 80% of your pipeline by identifying new business opportunities and engaging with multiple personas within the prospect/customer base. Utilizing various strategies and tools, you will generate leads and move them through the sales cycle effectively.
You will develop and maintain accurate sales forecasts, leveraging data to inform your decision-making and ensure predictable revenue outcomes. Your goal will be to achieve consistent attainment of revenue targets, contributing to the overall success of Benchling's mission to unlock the power of biotechnology.
You will play a crucial role in expanding our customer base and ensuring successful sales outcomes through effective pipeline generation and accurate sales forecasting. Your ability to communicate the value of our solutions will be key to your success, as you work to establish and nurture relationships with clients.
