Smartsheet is seeking a Senior Business Systems Engineer to build and maintain scalable backend integrations using AWS services. You have 5+ years of experience in business systems engineering, focusing on backend integrations and automation. Your expertise in AWS services allows you to build scalable solutions that enhance operational efficiency. You are proficient in programming languages such as Node.js and Python, enabling you to develop robust integrations that support mission-critical data flows. You thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with cross-functional teams to understand their needs and deliver effective solutions. You are detail-oriented and possess strong problem-solving skills, allowing you to tackle complex technical challenges with ease. You are passionate about leveraging technology to improve business processes and empower teams.
In this role, you will join the Corporate Systems Development team at Smartsheet, where you will focus on building and maintaining backend integrations that support various internal systems, including Finance, People, Sales, Legal, and Engineering. You will leverage AWS services such as Lambda, SQS, and SNS to create scalable solutions that automate manual processes and enhance data flow. You will collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications, ensuring that the solutions you develop meet their needs. You will also be responsible for monitoring and optimizing the performance of the integrations you build, ensuring they operate efficiently and effectively. Additionally, you will contribute to the continuous improvement of the development processes and practices within the team, sharing your insights and expertise with colleagues.
