CI&T is seeking a Mid Level QA Engineer to design and execute test plans for web and mobile applications. You'll focus on both manual and automated testing, ensuring high-quality software delivery. This role requires proven experience in QA methodologies and advanced English proficiency.
You have proven experience as a QA Engineer or in a similar role, with a strong focus on both manual and automated testing. Your advanced English proficiency allows you to communicate effectively with cross-functional teams. You are detail-oriented and possess extensive experience in manual testing for both front-end and back-end applications. Familiarity with automated testing tools and methodologies is a significant plus, as you continuously seek to improve testing processes and methodologies to enhance product quality and team efficiency. You are also committed to mentoring junior QA team members, contributing to their professional development.
In this role, you will design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases for web and mobile applications. You will perform manual testing of front-end interfaces, ensuring a seamless user experience and adherence to design specifications. Conducting back-end testing to verify data integrity, API functionality, and overall system performance will be part of your responsibilities. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and UX/UI designers, to identify and resolve quality issues. Identifying, documenting, and tracking defects using appropriate bug-tracking tools will be essential to your role. You will stay updated on industry trends and best practices in software testing, ensuring that your skills and knowledge remain current.
