Carvana is seeking an Experienced Heavy Body Technician to perform extensive bodywork and train other technicians. This role requires a minimum of 5 years of professional automotive bodywork experience.
You have a minimum of 5 years of professional automotive bodywork experience, demonstrating your expertise in various bodywork techniques. As an Experienced Heavy Body Technician, you are skilled in heavy plastic welding, metal pulling, straightening, shrinking, and stud welding. You are also proficient in roof and rocker panel repair, as well as large area heavy bodywork, including Bondo repair. Your experience allows you to train other autobody technicians, fostering a collaborative environment where skills and knowledge are shared.
You are a team player who is committed to delivering exceptional customer experiences. You understand the importance of meeting deadlines and are willing to work mandatory overtime when necessary to ensure that vehicles are delivered on time. Your dedication to quality and efficiency makes you a valuable asset to the Carvana team.
In this role, you will perform extensive bodywork on multiple panels, ensuring that each vehicle meets Carvana's high standards for quality and safety. You will utilize state-of-the-art tools in one of our high-tech Inspection Centers, allowing you to work efficiently and effectively. Your responsibilities will include training other technicians, sharing your knowledge and expertise to help them grow in their roles.
You will be expected to collaborate with your team to deliver exceptional customer experiences, which may involve working overtime during busy periods.
