Job Description

Are you interested in building the future of e-commerce delivery? Do you want to be a part of team establishing the next big B2B initiative? Our team is changing the way we interact with customers around the globe and building a new, emerging business to solve some of the biggest logistical opportunities facing not just Amazon, but the entire transportation industry.

We are building a Marketing Operations Center of Excellence to serve Amazon Shipping and Amazon Freight, two high-growth externalized transportation businesses. As a foundational member of this team, we're seeking an experienced Marketing Technology leader to drive the strategy and execution of our marketing automation ecosystem. This role will shape our customer engagement strategy through sophisticated marketing automation, lead scoring, and lifecycle marketing initiatives. The position ensures our tech stack meets marketing team and stakeholder needs while providing valuable insights into performance and user behavior. Success requires strong technical expertise, data analytics, and project management skills, with proven ability to collaborate cross-functionally on project delivery, vendor management, and analytics integration. This role will directly influence the growth and efficiency of our marketing operations, driving innovation in how we engage with prospects and customers through marketing technology.

Key job responsibilities
-Own and optimize martech ecosystem, including architecture, integration management, and performance monitoring
-Drive strategic marketing automation initiatives while maintaining tactical excellence in day-to-day operations
-Design and implement sophisticated lead scoring models and lifecycle marketing programs
-Manage critical integrations between Marketo, Salesforce, and other marketing technology tools
-Lead the evaluation, integration, and optimization of additional MarTech tools (e.g., 6Sense)
-Develop and maintain comprehensive process documentation and SOPs
-Partner cross-functionally with Marketing, Business Intelligence, and Creative teams to drive customer-obsessed solutions
-Create and execute the product roadmap for marketing technology capabilities
-Lead and influence stakeholders across multiple business units to drive adoption and optimization of marketing technology solutions
- 6+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience
- Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements
- Experience with Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, charts and pivot tables)
- Experience building, executing and scaling cross-functional marketing programs
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with Marketo and Salesforce
- Proven track record of building and scaling marketing automation programs
- Deep expertise in lead scoring and lifecycle marketing- Experience using any of SQL or other analytical tools for conducting data analysis
- Experience with customer segmentation, profiling, and targeting
- Marketo Certified Expert certification
- Strong technical background with understanding of APIs, integrations, and data management
- B2B experience highly preferred
- Experience with 6Sense or similar intent data platforms
- Experience in B2B technology or logistics industry
- Track record of leading cross-functional teams and initiatives
- Experience with agile methodology and project management
- MBA or advanced degree

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $128,600/year in our lowest geographic market up to $212,600/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
