The Microsoft Security Purview Team is responsible for a broad suite of data governance, data security, compliance, privacy, and risk management solutions across Microsoft 365, Azure, and multi-cloud environments. We are looking to hire Senior Software Engineer – Cloud Infrastructure & Backend for the Purview team, you will help ensure the software, tools, and code meets the highest standards for scale and security. This opportunity will allow you to learn about customer scaling requirements and the application of best practices for meeting scaling needs and performance expectations, while ensuring the correct processes are followed to achieve a high degree of security, privacy, safety, and accessibility and of course security. You will look for opportunities to raise the security bar as you apply Microsoft’s security policies and best practices.

Software Engineering IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $119,800 - $234,700 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $158,400 - $258,000 per year.
