An active U.S. Government Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmentalized Information (TS/SCI) security clearance with Polygraph is required for this role.
Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Google Distributed Cloud (GDC), or similar edge/hosted products is preferred. You have managed AI/ML workloads and are familiar with infrastructure monitoring stacks like Prometheus and Grafana. Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform and Ansible, as well as security in air-gapped environments, is also beneficial. You possess the ability to design secure, well-architected systems based on customer requirements and can analyze situations or problems at the system level or from a broader perspective.
As an Associate Systems Development Engineer, you will be at the forefront of deploying and managing Google's advanced cloud and AI technologies, including Google Distributed Cloud (GDC) and Gemini models, in complex environments. Your role emphasizes the development of tools and solutions that fix classes of problems and reduce toil. You will provide support to United States Government customers and will participate in scheduled on-call rotations to ensure rapid resolution of customer-impacting issues. You will collaborate with product engineering teams to diagnose, mitigate, and resolve complex technical issues, contributing to architectural improvements.
