Fivetran is seeking a Senior Site Reliability Engineer to enhance the reliability and performance of their data platform. You'll collaborate with engineering teams and utilize skills in AWS, Docker, and Kubernetes to ensure infrastructure stability.
You have 5+ years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering or a related field, with a strong understanding of cloud infrastructure and reliability best practices. Your expertise in AWS and Kubernetes allows you to design and maintain scalable systems that meet high availability standards. You are proficient in Linux and have experience with monitoring tools to ensure system performance and reliability. Your programming skills in Python enable you to automate processes and improve operational efficiency. You thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with engineering teams to integrate reliability into the product roadmap. You are proactive in identifying potential issues and implementing solutions to avoid incidents.
Experience with incident response and management is a plus, as is familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation. You understand the importance of capacity planning and have a track record of maintaining production systems with minimal downtime. Your ability to communicate effectively with cross-functional teams ensures that reliability considerations are prioritized in product development.
As a Senior Site Reliability Engineer at Fivetran, you will be responsible for monitoring the availability and performance of our production infrastructure. You will collaborate with engineering teams to implement reliability best practices and support the deployment pipeline. Your role will involve initial incident response, where you will quickly assess and address issues to maintain system uptime. You will contribute to maintaining 100% availability of production infrastructure by automating deployments and scaling processes. Your insights will help prioritize and resolve critical bugs identified by support or sales teams, ensuring a seamless experience for our customers. You will also participate in post-incident reviews to identify areas for improvement and enhance our incident response strategies.
