Who you are

You have 5+ years of experience in information security, particularly in managing access controls and user entitlements — you've developed a keen understanding of security protocols and compliance standards. Your expertise includes working with cloud environments, especially AWS, and you are proficient in Linux systems, which allows you to navigate and secure various infrastructures effectively.

You possess strong analytical skills and are comfortable using SQL for reporting and auditing purposes — you can identify potential risks and violations through thorough access reviews. Your collaborative nature enables you to work effectively with cross-functional teams, gathering requirements and integrating identity and access management processes with other security systems.

You are detail-oriented and have a strong commitment to maintaining accurate documentation and procedures — you understand the importance of role-based access control (RBAC) and are adept at producing regular reports for management and oversight functions. Your ability to communicate complex security concepts to stakeholders ensures that governance standards are applied consistently across the firm.

Desirable

Experience with AI solutions in security contexts is a plus, as is familiarity with enterprise agile methodologies — you are open to exploring innovative approaches to enhance security measures. A background in risk management or compliance frameworks will further strengthen your candidacy.

What you'll do

In this role, you will manage and respond to access requests for users across the firm, ensuring that all requests are completed accurately and in a timely manner. You will oversee the implementation of role-based access control (RBAC) and document procedures to maintain compliance with governance standards. Conducting access reviews and audits will be a key responsibility, allowing you to identify and mitigate potential risks and violations effectively.

You will collaborate with various stakeholders to gather and document requirements for user access and entitlements, ensuring that all processes align with the firm's security policies. Your role will also involve creating, modifying, and terminating user accounts, roles, and entitlements as necessary, maintaining a secure environment for all users.

Regular reporting for management and oversight functions will be part of your duties, providing insights into access management and security compliance. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to integrate IAM processes with other security systems and applications, enhancing the overall security posture of the organization.
