Who you are

You have a minimum of 5 years of professional automotive repair experience, demonstrating a strong background in automotive mechanics. Your expertise includes performing extensive repairs and heavy engine work, as well as advanced vehicle diagnostics. You are skilled in repairing advanced vehicle electrical issues and have experience with installing, repairing, and replacing vehicle refrigerant and recovery systems. You are comfortable working on all makes and models, including electric and hybrid vehicles. Your ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex automotive issues sets you apart in the field.

You are a team player who thrives in a collaborative environment, and you understand the importance of using state-of-the-art tools to deliver high-quality service. You are committed to continuous learning and improvement, and you are open to participating in training programs to enhance your skills further. Your strong communication skills allow you to effectively interact with customers and colleagues, ensuring a positive experience for everyone involved.

Desirable

While not required, having ASE certification would be a plus, as it demonstrates your commitment to professional standards in the automotive industry. Familiarity with the latest automotive technologies and trends will also be beneficial in this role, as it will enable you to stay ahead in a rapidly evolving field.

What you'll do

As an Experienced Auto Technician at Carvana, you will be responsible for performing a wide range of automotive repairs and diagnostics. In addition to technical skills, you will be expected to uphold Carvana's commitment to customer service excellence. This means providing clear explanations of repairs and maintenance to customers, addressing their concerns, and ensuring their satisfaction with the services provided.
