Confluent is seeking a Mid-Level Account Executive to drive net-new customer acquisition for their data streaming platform. You have a proven track record in sales, ideally with experience in technology or software solutions — you understand the nuances of consultative selling and can effectively communicate value to prospective clients. You have experience managing the full sales cycle, from prospecting to closing deals, and you are comfortable navigating complex sales processes. What you'll do

In this role, you will own the full sales cycle for net-new logos in your assigned Mid-market territory — from prospecting to discovery, solution design, negotiation, and closing. You will identify and engage potential clients, leveraging your strong prospecting skills to uncover opportunities that align with Confluent's data streaming platform. You will conduct thorough discovery sessions to understand client needs and pain points, crafting tailored solutions that demonstrate the value of our technology. Your consultative selling approach will help you build long-term relationships with clients, ensuring they see the benefits of our platform in action. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing and product, to ensure alignment on messaging and strategy. You will track and report on your sales activities and pipeline, using data to inform your approach and drive results. You will participate in ongoing training and development opportunities to enhance your skills and stay current with industry trends. You will contribute to a supportive and performance-driven culture, sharing insights and best practices with your team to foster collective success.
