NEORIS is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to create, maintain, and optimize ETL processes and SQL Server databases. You'll work with SSIS and Azure Data Factory, requiring a minimum of 6 years of experience in ETL development.
You have at least 6 years of experience in ETL development and SQL Server administration, demonstrating a strong ability to create, maintain, and optimize stored procedures, functions, and ETL processes. Your expertise in SQL Server includes advanced administration skills such as installation, configuration, patching, and performance tuning. You are proficient in T-SQL and have a solid understanding of database backup, recovery, and monitoring. Your experience with SSIS and Azure Data Factory allows you to develop efficient data integration solutions. You are capable of leading technical initiatives and providing guidance to less experienced team members, ensuring high-quality deliverables. You thrive in agile environments, utilizing methodologies like Scrum and Kanban to drive project success.
In this role, you will be responsible for creating and optimizing ETL processes, ensuring data integrity and performance. You will conduct unit tests and reviews to eliminate errors, collaborating closely with business stakeholders to review test results and complete technical documentation. You will analyze business requirements and how they fit into existing systems, developing technical specifications and proposing improvements. Your role will also involve auditing code to identify bottlenecks and optimize performance, ensuring that all documentation and unit tests are clear and comprehensive. You will participate in agile projects, contributing to a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the team.
