Your expertise in cloud platforms like AWS allows you to design scalable and fault-tolerant systems that can handle massive volumes of data. You are proficient in containerization technologies such as Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes, which you use to streamline deployment processes and enhance system efficiency.

Your experience with Linux systems is extensive, enabling you to troubleshoot and optimize server performance effectively. You understand the importance of monitoring and alerting, and you have implemented various tools to ensure that production systems are always available and performing optimally. You are a proactive problem solver who enjoys collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve system reliability and performance.

You have a passion for automation and have experience in creating CI/CD pipelines that facilitate smooth deployments and reduce downtime. Your ability to analyze system metrics and logs helps you identify potential issues before they impact users. You are comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and thrive on the challenges that come with maintaining high-availability systems.

Desirable

What you'll do

As a Senior Site Reliability Engineer at Behavox, you will be responsible for ensuring the availability, latency, performance, and efficiency of all production systems and services. You will collaborate closely with DevOps, Product, and Engineering teams to design and implement SRE practices that enhance system reliability. Your role will involve capacity planning and change management to ensure that systems can scale effectively as demand increases.

You will monitor system performance and respond to incidents, ensuring that any issues are resolved quickly and efficiently. Your expertise will guide the team in implementing best practices for system reliability and performance optimization. You will also contribute to the development of tools and processes that improve the overall efficiency of the engineering team.

In addition to your technical responsibilities, you will play a key role in mentoring junior engineers, sharing your knowledge and experience to help them grow in their roles. You will participate in on-call rotations, providing support during critical incidents and ensuring that the team is prepared to handle emergencies effectively.
