SpaceX is hiring a Scheduler for the Thermal Hardware team at Starbase, TX. You'll manage planning, procurement, and scheduling operations while collaborating with engineers and supply chain teams. This role requires strong organizational skills and experience with Microsoft Office.
You have experience in scheduling and operations management, ideally within a manufacturing or engineering environment. You are detail-oriented and possess strong organizational skills that allow you to manage multiple tasks effectively. You thrive in a fast-paced environment and are comfortable working with cross-functional teams, including engineers, technicians, and supply chain professionals. Your ability to analyze processes and identify areas for improvement is key to your success in this role. You are a flexible self-starter who enjoys creating and improving processes, solving challenges, and finding creative opportunities to help teams move faster. You understand the importance of inventory management and distribution in a production setting and are eager to contribute to the success of the Starship project.
As a Scheduler for the Thermal Hardware team, you will manage planning, procurement, manufacturing, inventory, internal distribution, integration, and test scheduling operations. You will coordinate and review input from engineering, manufacturing, suppliers, and business development to support and maintain Master Schedules for products. Your role will involve providing tactical and strategic long-range scheduling expertise to our production teams. You will work closely with various stakeholders to ensure that schedules are aligned with project goals and timelines. You will also be responsible for driving improvements in the heatshield production process, helping to inform and steer both tactical and strategic decisions related to inventory management and distribution. Your contributions will play a crucial role in delivering the world's first fully reusable vehicle capable of carrying both crew and cargo to Earth orbit, the Moon, Mars, and beyond, and returning safely.
