You have 5+ years of experience in security operations, with a strong background in monitoring and analyzing security events. You are proficient in AWS and Linux, and your programming skills in Python enable you to automate tasks and enhance security processes. You understand the importance of reducing false positives and enriching security events with business context, which is crucial for effective incident response.

What you'll do

In this role, you will monitor and analyze security events across ChargePoint's infrastructure, responding to incidents as they arise. You will work closely with the security operations team to identify and mitigate threats, ensuring that the organization's systems remain secure. Your responsibilities will include enriching security events with relevant business context, which aids in understanding the impact of incidents on the organization.

You will also be involved in reducing false positives, which is critical for maintaining operational efficiency and ensuring that the security team can focus on genuine threats. Your analytical skills will be put to use as you investigate security incidents, providing detailed reports and recommendations for improvements.

Collaboration is key in this role, as you will work with various stakeholders, including IT, engineering, and compliance teams, to enhance the overall security posture of ChargePoint. You will participate in regular security assessments and audits, helping to ensure that the organization meets compliance requirements and adheres to best practices.
