Credentialed Tax Expert (Part-time, Remote)

Who you are

You are a Credentialed Tax Expert with a minimum of 2 years of paid experience filing federal and state individual 1040 tax returns. You have an active PTIN and hold an unrestricted credential such as CPA, EA, or Practicing Attorney. Your strong tax preparation experience is complemented by extensive knowledge of tax laws, making you a valuable resource for clients navigating the complexities of taxation. You possess excellent customer service skills and are excited to interact with customers through video and audio tools in a professional, friendly, and confident manner. You are committed to enhancing the brand by delighting customers and empowering them to prepare their taxes effectively.

What you'll do

In this role, you will help customers complete their taxes using company products. You will provide tax advice, full-service return preparation, and tax calculations while managing product and software inquiries. Your responsibilities will include utilizing government websites and professional resources to deliver accurate and timely tax services. You will work an average of 15-20 hours per week, spread across three or more days, ensuring that clients receive the support they need during the busy tax season. Your role is crucial in advancing the company's goal of "Powering Prosperity Around the World" by helping clients navigate their tax obligations with confidence.
