FSQA Onboarding Specialist

Who you are

You have solid experience in supplier management and/or specification management in the food industry — you understand the intricacies of onboarding new suppliers and products while ensuring compliance with quality standards. Your deep knowledge of FSANZ legislation equips you to navigate the regulatory landscape effectively, ensuring that all processes align with Australian and New Zealand food safety requirements. You possess a great understanding of food processing systems and equipment, which allows you to assess supplier capabilities accurately. Comfortable working with G-suite and MS-suite, you leverage these tools to streamline processes and enhance communication with stakeholders. You thrive in a collaborative environment, building strong relationships with internal teams and external partners to drive quality assurance initiatives.

What you'll do

As the FSQA Onboarding Specialist, you will be instrumental in ensuring our Food Safety and Quality Assurance standards are world-class right from the start. Your primary focus will be on onboarding new suppliers and products (SKUs) smoothly and efficiently, aligning with major projects while diving into existing specification reviews. You will guide our Category Owners and NPD Technologists through the supplier and product onboarding process for our AU and NZ markets, ensuring our partners are expertly set up and trained on our supplier management platform, Ideagen. Your role will involve reviewing all supplier and product documentation to maintain our high-quality standards, embedding a 'right first time' approach in every partnership. You will also drive the review of existing specifications in Ideagen, with the goal of approving all category specifications by the end of 2026. Using your industry knowledge, you will develop and implement best-practice quality specifications with our suppliers, ensuring that all processes meet our rigorous standards. You will help to drive essential FSQA projects, collaborating closely with various teams to ensure successful outcomes.
