Who you are

You have 5+ years of experience in software engineering, with a strong focus on leading design and implementation efforts across complex platform domains. Your expertise allows you to resolve problems in platform design where there are competing constraints and significant ambiguity. You are recognized as a subject matter expert across a broad range of platform systems, capable of identifying and coordinating the resolution of systemic issues. You have the ability to define the long-term architectural direction for critical areas of the platform, aligning multiple teams around a shared vision. Your experience includes working in high-stakes environments where technical and business risks are prevalent, and you thrive in situations that require innovative solutions.

Desirable

Experience with financial services technology is a plus, as is familiarity with mobile-first technology solutions. You are comfortable navigating complex technical landscapes and can effectively communicate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. You have a track record of mentoring junior engineers and fostering a collaborative team environment.

What you'll do

In this role, you will lead the evolution of strategically critical areas of SoFi's financial services platform, specifically focusing on loans originations.
