Sr. Machine Learning Engineer

Who you are

You have a strong background in machine learning engineering, with at least 5 years of experience in designing and deploying machine learning models. Your expertise in Python and familiarity with frameworks like TensorFlow and PyTorch enable you to build robust ML solutions that are production-ready. You understand the importance of data quality and have experience in building data pipelines that ensure the integrity and accessibility of data for model training.

You are proficient in using Docker for containerization, which allows you to streamline the deployment of machine learning applications. Your experience with scalable systems means you can handle large datasets and optimize model performance effectively. You are a collaborative team player who enjoys working closely with cross-functional teams, including data scientists and product managers, to implement innovative AI solutions that enhance user experiences.

Desirable

Experience with generative AI and large language models (LLMs) is a plus, as you will be contributing to the development of cutting-edge AI-powered products. Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS or GCP can also be beneficial in this role, as you may be involved in deploying models in cloud environments.

What you'll do

As a Senior Machine Learning Engineer at Typeform, you will lead the design and implementation of machine learning systems that drive personalized user experiences. You will be responsible for building and deploying scalable ML solutions, ensuring they are production-ready and capable of handling real-world data. Your role will involve collaborating with data scientists to develop and refine ML models, as well as working with product teams to integrate these models into Typeform's applications.

You will also focus on optimizing existing machine learning workflows and pipelines, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing best practices for model training and evaluation. Your contributions will directly impact how Typeform leverages data to enhance its offerings, making it easier for users to collect information in a conversational manner.

In addition to technical responsibilities, you will mentor junior engineers and contribute to the overall growth of the Data & Insights team. You will participate in code reviews, share knowledge, and help foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement within the team.
