Overview

Verifone is seeking an Area Sales Manager to oversee the entire sales cycle targeting medium-sized businesses across Germany. This role requires proven B2B sales experience, ideally in payment solutions or SaaS.

Job Description

Who you are

You have a strong background in B2B sales, ideally with experience in payment solutions, SaaS, or financial services. Your track record demonstrates success in closing deals and exceeding sales targets, particularly in fast-paced environments. You are fluent in both German and English, allowing you to communicate effectively with diverse clients. Your high energy and initiative drive you to seek out new opportunities, whether through cold calling, warm leads, or referrals. You are a trusted voice in the market, representing the Verifone brand with integrity and determination.

Desirable

Experience working with small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs) is a plus, as is familiarity with the electronic payment industry. You thrive in environments where you can collaborate with marketing, product, and customer success teams to ensure seamless customer acquisition.

What you'll do

In this role, you will manage the entire sales cycle from acquisition to closing, focusing on medium-sized clients throughout Germany. You will engage with business owners, decision-makers, and finance executives to understand their challenges and tailor Verifone's payment solutions to meet their needs. Your daily activities will include prospecting new clients, nurturing warm leads, and leveraging referrals to drive sales. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure a successful customer onboarding experience and continuously strive to meet and exceed your sales targets.
