SpaceX is hiring an NDT/NDI Level II Inspector specializing in Eddy Current to perform high-quality inspections of flight components. This role requires NDE level II certification and experience in nondestructive evaluation.
You have a high school diploma or equivalency certificate and possess NDE level II certification in line with ASNT-TC-1A or NAS-410 or DoD guidance in Eddy Current (ET). With 2+ years of experience as a level II NDE/NDT inspector, you are well-versed in nondestructive evaluation techniques and have a strong understanding of engineering drawings. You are committed to continuous improvement and have a collaborative mindset, ready to engage with production and engineering teams to communicate findings effectively.
As an NDT/NDI Level II Inspector at SpaceX, you will perform surface and volumetric NDE inspections, interpreting and evaluating results to report your findings to production and engineering teams. You will support the development of NDE inspection techniques for complex geometries and assist in the research and development of future ultrasonic technology aimed at operational improvements. Additionally, you will play a key role in training and developing others within the team, fostering a culture of quality and excellence in inspections across various programs including Falcon, Dragon, Starship, and Raptor.
