Relativity is seeking a Senior Combustion Device Test Engineer to develop and test propulsion systems for their Terran R rocket. You'll work with C, C++, and Python in a hands-on role at Stennis Space Center, Mississippi. This position requires significant experience in combustion device testing.
You have a strong background in combustion device testing, with at least 5 years of experience in the aerospace or automotive industries. Your expertise in C, C++, and Python allows you to develop and implement test plans effectively. You are comfortable working in a Linux environment and have experience with MATLAB for data analysis and simulation. Your familiarity with AutoCAD helps you understand design specifications and contribute to the development of test setups. You thrive in collaborative environments and are eager to solve complex engineering challenges.
Experience with rocket propulsion systems or similar technologies is a plus. Familiarity with regulatory compliance and safety standards in aerospace testing will set you apart. You are proactive in identifying potential issues and have a track record of improving testing processes.
As a Senior Combustion Device Test Engineer, you will lead the testing of combustion devices for the Terran R rocket.
