Join our dynamic team that powers the intelligence behind Prime Video's personalized viewing experience. We're looking for a passionate Business Intelligence Engineer who will help leverage meaningful insights that directly influence how viewers interact with one of the world's largest streaming platforms.

In this role, you'll be at the intersection of entertainment and technology, collaborating with engineering, product management, and marketing to uncover patterns in viewer behavior and translate them into actionable recommendations. You'll have the opportunity to impact how customers discover new content they'll love, whether they're browsing the homepage or searching for their next binge-worthy series.

Key job responsibilities
• Drive data-based strategic decisions for international video streaming service
• Partner with engineering, product, and marketing teams
• Set and track program goals and metrics
• Design scalable data solutions based on business requirements
• Develop reporting dashboards and metrics visualization
• Use tools like SQL, ETL, Redshift, QuickSight, and Tableau
• Manage complete development lifecycle from design to maintenance

About the team
Prime Video Personalization and Discovery empowers customers to fulfill all content streaming needs by delivering engaging and relevant recommendations from Prime Video’s extensive premium library, every time they use the app.- 3+ years of analyzing and interpreting data with Redshift, Oracle, NoSQL etc. experience
- Experience with data visualization using Tableau, Quicksight, or similar tools
- Experience with data modeling, warehousing and building ETL pipelines
- Experience in Statistical Analysis packages such as R, SAS and Matlab
- Experience using SQL to pull data from a database or data warehouse and scripting experience (Python) to process data for modeling- Experience with AWS solutions such as EC2, DynamoDB, S3, and Redshift
- Experience in data mining, ETL, etc. and using databases in a business environment with large-scale, complex datasets
- Advanced Degree (Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Quantitative Analysis) or related quantitative field
- Experience in large tech or big tech organizations

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $89,600/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
