Okta is seeking a Staff People Technologies (Workday) to join their Business Solutions Team. You'll collaborate with various stakeholders to optimize HR systems and processes, leveraging your expertise in Workday. This role requires strong knowledge of multiple Workday modules.
You have extensive experience in People Operations, particularly with Workday, and are well-versed in multiple modules such as Payroll, Absence, and Time Tracking. Your expertise allows you to ensure data integrity and support the enhancement and adoption of new Workday features and functionality. You are passionate about solving complex business challenges and driving innovation through automation, always aiming to deliver a best-in-class user experience.
You thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with stakeholders across People, Payroll, IT, and Finance. Your ability to communicate effectively with diverse teams ensures that you can optimize and scale HR systems and processes efficiently. You are a lifelong learner, eager to embrace new challenges and contribute your unique experiences to the team.
Experience with other HR technologies and systems is a plus, as is a background in project management or process improvement. You are comfortable navigating complex organizational structures and can adapt to changing priorities while maintaining a focus on delivering results.
In this role, you will serve as a Workday subject matter expert, owning the module deliverables and acting as the primary point of contact for data collection. You will collaborate with the People Technology leadership to drive the Workday transformation efforts, ensuring that the system meets the evolving needs of the organization. Your responsibilities will include optimizing existing processes, implementing new features, and providing training and support to users.
You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for automation and process improvement, ensuring that the HR systems are efficient and user-friendly. Your role will involve analyzing data and metrics to inform decision-making and drive continuous improvement initiatives. You will also be responsible for maintaining compliance with applicable laws and regulations, ensuring that the organization adheres to best practices in data privacy and security.
