Overview

Apple is seeking a Senior Product Design Engineer to lead the design and development of innovative haptic solutions for products like the iPhone and Apple Watch. Who you are

You have a BS degree and at least 10 years of relevant industry experience, showcasing your expertise in mechanical design and product development. Your strong fundamentals in mechanics allow you to tackle complex engineering challenges effectively. You are skilled in problem-solving, employing tools like the scientific method and root cause analysis to drive innovative solutions. Proficiency in 3D CAD and 2D drafting is second nature to you, and you have a solid understanding of GD&T and tolerance analysis. Your applied knowledge of electrical circuits, material science, and basic chemistry enhances your ability to design and validate mechanical systems. You thrive in a team-oriented environment and possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, enabling you to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Desirable

Experience with mechanical or electromagnetic FEA tools would be a significant advantage, as would any project experience in documentation releases. Your creativity and passion for innovation align perfectly with Apple's mission to deliver groundbreaking products.
