Angi is seeking a Temporary Senior Analyst (Indirect Tax) to manage US Sales and Use Tax compliance. You'll prepare and review tax returns and coordinate with service providers. This role requires a Bachelor's degree in Accounting and CPA certification.
You have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting and ideally hold a CPA or a Master's Degree in Accounting or Tax. Your experience includes hands-on preparation and review of compliance filings, particularly in the area of US Sales and Use Tax. You are familiar with tax software such as Vertex, Avalara, and Netsuite, which enhances your ability to manage tax compliance effectively. You understand the importance of meeting jurisdictional deadlines and have a keen eye for detail when it comes to tax accounting and reconciliation. You thrive in a collaborative environment and are comfortable coordinating with third-party service providers for data exchange and tax payments. You value diversity and bring a unique perspective to the team, contributing to innovative solutions.
In this role, you will be responsible for driving the daily US Sales and Use Tax function, ensuring compliance across multiple jurisdictions. You will prepare and review monthly and quarterly Sales and Use Tax returns, managing a detailed tax filing calendar to meet all jurisdictional deadlines. Your role will involve coordinating with third-party service providers to facilitate data exchange and ensure timely remittance of tax payments. You will actively participate in system testing and audit support, contributing to the overall efficiency of the tax function. You will also engage in tax accounting and reconciliation, ensuring accuracy and compliance in all financial reporting. Your contributions will help Angi maintain its reputation as a reliable partner in the home services industry.
