Verkada is hiring a Backend Engineer for their camera fleet management team to build data infrastructure and analytical tools. You'll work with Java and data analysis to support safe release operations across a million+ camera devices.
You have a strong background in backend engineering, with experience in building data infrastructure and analytical tools that support large-scale operations. Your expertise in data analysis allows you to derive insights from complex datasets, ensuring that every decision made impacts the success of camera firmware releases. You are comfortable working with data pipelines and have a keen eye for detecting anomalies and measuring release health. You understand the importance of metrics-driven insights in a fast-paced environment and are eager to contribute to a team that values data-driven decision making.
You possess strong programming skills, particularly in Java, and have experience with log analysis and data pipeline development. Your ability to communicate effectively with cross-functional teams ensures that you can collaborate seamlessly with product managers and other engineers.
