ABOUT THE ROLE
Audible is looking for a results-oriented Associate Director, Marketing to own customer acquisition and revenue growth for the Audible service in Australia across Amazon Retail, Amazon Devices, and Affiliate channels. This position will be responsible for partnering with local and global stakeholders to develop the strategy for acquiring new customers and driving revenue growth while setting up and executing marketing campaigns to support the implementation of the strategy. This role requires end to end ownership of marketing campaigns including creative briefing, seeking approvals, planning, executing, reporting and analyzing opportunities for growth and optimization. In addition to the above, this role will also require working with local and global stakeholders to document locale specific requirements, test product features, own localization efforts and marketing campaigns to ensure the success of new features and product launches. Being a key member of the Global marketing team this role is also expected to demonstrate strong cross market collaboration including identifying opportunities/risks, sharing learning's, implementing cross market wins and best practices. The role is located in Sydney.

Key job responsibilities
As the Associate Director, Marketing you will...

- Partner with local and global stakeholders to define and execute strategy and vision for acquiring new customers and driving revenue growth via Amazon Retail, Amazon Devices, and Affiliates channels
- Set up, monitor and optimize marketing campaigns to drive traffic via channels such as Email, Push Notifications, Site placements, etc;
- Develop and execute automated journeys and one-off email and push marketing campaigns using Amazon and Audible marketing tools
- Partner with local and global Audible and Amazon teams to plan and set up Audible deals, sales and promotions
- Dive deep to analyze customer journeys, traffic flow patterns and identify drop off points on Audible pages on Amazon surface. Partner with global teams to implement conversion strategy and roadmap
- Set up and measure a/b tests leveraging Amazon and Audible tools. Measure and track results. Share local learning's and insights with global teams
- Partner with international stakeholders to share best practices, learning's and roll out international product and marketing initiatives for the Australia marketplace
- Monitor marketing metrics, goals, and KPIs to measure and track business results- Experience in online retail/B2C marketing
- Experience using customer insights and data to deeply understand target customers and dive deep
- Experience executing scaled marketing campaigns through email or social media
- Experience working with marketing tools including email, web analytics, CRM, and marketing automation platforms
- Experience using analytical specific tools such as Google Analytics, SQL or HTML
- Experience with strong project management skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Experience analyzing data quantitatively and using customer research, data and metrics to back up assumptions, identifying opportunities, and assessing the efficacy of marketing programs
- Experience in written and verbal communication skills to communicate with technical and non-technical audiences, including senior leadership- Experience in e-commerce (sales or marketing)
- Experience in the entertainment industry
- Experience working with engineering and product teams to define a product and bring it to market
