We're looking for a Sr. Risk Manager to join our Sustainability team, within the Amazon’s Regulatory Intelligence, Safety, and Compliance (RISC) organization. The Sr. Risk Manager will plan and execute large-scale global programs that ensure the compliance of our Amazon's businesses and operations.

RISC seek to deliver on the above mandate, while placing emphasis on improving the experience for Amazon’s Selling Partners for the products they sell via Amazon.
Key job responsibilities
• Drive the expansion of sustainability activities to strengthen environmental compliance.
• Manage cross-functional projects, to respond to new sustainability requirements.
• Partner closely with Legal, Public Policy, Retail, Third Party (3P) and various Tech and Product teams, to define and lead the program solutions.
• Own metrics, deep dive on KPIs, troubleshooting on reports and multiple data sources.
• Clear, precise, and regular communication with key stakeholders, including leadership, on ongoing project/program updates
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- Experience in compliance, audit or risk management
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office products and applications at an advanced level
- Experience building cross-functional partnerships and influencing stakeholders across the organization to act without having a direct reporting relationship
- Excellent communication skills, ability to simplify complex topics- Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent certification
- Experience leveraging technology and implementing lean principles / Six Sigma methodologies to drive process improvements or equivalent
- Master's degree or equivalent
- Experience working with Product teams on scalable technical solutions
- Comfortable with ambiguity, adept at problem-solving
- Designs customer-centric processes, experience with root cause analysis
