Carvana is seeking a Lot Attendant to maintain the cleanliness and appearance of vehicles at their Market Hubs. This entry-level position offers a starting pay of $15/hr with opportunities for growth based on performance.
You are an enthusiastic and self-motivated team player who is eager to start a career in the automotive industry. You possess a valid driver’s license and are at least 18 years of age. You are capable of reading, writing, speaking, and understanding English, which is essential for effective communication in the workplace. You are detail-oriented and take pride in ensuring that vehicles are presented in their best condition.
While no specific prior experience is required, any background in customer service or automotive care would be beneficial. A willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment is essential for success in this role.
As a Lot Attendant at Carvana, your primary responsibility will be to maintain the cleanliness and appearance of the vehicles at our Market Hubs. You will inspect each vehicle for mechanical, drivability, or cosmetic concerns, ensuring that they meet our high standards. Regular washing and vacuuming of all inventory will be part of your routine, as will completing multi-point inspections on arriving inventory, which includes checking fuel levels, safety features, and conducting drivability tests.
You will coordinate with fellow employees to ensure timely deliveries and the highest level of customer satisfaction. This role is crucial in creating a positive first impression for our customers, as the appearance of our vehicles directly impacts their experience with Carvana. You will also be part of a performance-based program that allows you to increase your earnings through merit opportunities every 90 days.
Carvana offers a competitive starting hourly rate of $15/hr, with the potential to increase your pay based on performance. You will have the opportunity to progress from $15/hr to $16/hr within your first year through our Careers Not Jobs program, which provides four merit opportunities annually. Additionally, we offer paid time off and paid holidays, including your birthday as a holiday.
