Google is seeking a Senior Field Sales Manager for their Banking sector to drive cloud sales and manage client relationships. You'll leverage your experience in B2B software sales and leadership to foster growth in the financial services industry.
You have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience, along with at least 10 years of experience in quota-carrying cloud or software sales, or account management at a B2B software company. Your background includes working with clients in the banking sector, and you possess strong leadership skills, including people management, team lead, mentorship, or coaching. You are fluent in both English and German, enabling you to effectively manage relationships with local and international customers.
You have a proven track record of managing and leading teams, as well as experience working with cross-functional internal teams such as Business Development, Customer Engineers, and Partner Sales. Your expertise extends to driving the growth of cloud technologies within the financial services, banking, and insurance industries. You are adept at managing business and commercial models while leading organizational transformations and delivering results.
In this role, you will represent Google Cloud in business planning, town halls, and team meetings, ensuring accurate and timely forecasting and business performance reporting. You will travel to customer meetings, conferences, and other related events, acting as an advocate for Google Cloud, our products, and our customers. Your responsibilities will include understanding customer needs and helping shape new opportunities throughout the entire business cycle.
You will collaborate closely with internal teams to implement projects and negotiate effectively with external partners. Your role will require you to drive the growth of cloud technologies in the banking sector, ensuring that clients see the benefits of our technology come to life. You will play a key role in fostering relationships that lead to successful outcomes for both Google Cloud and its customers.
