MongoDB is seeking a Security Intern to join their Enterprise Security team, focusing on IAM and Cloud Security. You'll work with Python and IAM technologies to enhance security solutions. This role is ideal for students pursuing a degree in Cyber Security or related fields.
You are currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Cyber Security, Network Security, Ethical Hacking, Information Technology/Systems, or Computer Science with a Cybersecurity focus. You have a foundational understanding of Python and Identity & Access Management technologies such as OAuth and SAML, along with experience working with APIs. You possess the ability to communicate technical concepts effectively to audiences with varying levels of technical expertise. You have at least one quarter or semester remaining in your university studies after the internship concludes, with a graduation date between Fall 2026 and Spring 2028.
Experience or coursework in cloud security practices would be a plus, as well as familiarity with security protocols and frameworks. A proactive attitude towards learning and a keen interest in security engineering will help you thrive in this role.
