Google is seeking a Policy Enforcement Manager focused on Violent Extremism to enhance YouTube's safety and integrity. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams and utilize skills in SQL and machine learning. This role requires 4+ years of experience in data analytics or related fields.
You have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience, along with at least 4 years of experience in data analytics, Trust and Safety, policy, cyber security, or related fields. Your background includes a strong understanding of violent extremism or counter-terrorism, ideally supported by a Bachelor's or Master's degree in a related field. You possess experience with machine learning and are proficient in SQL, building dashboards, and data visualization. Your skills extend to scripting or programming languages such as Python, and you have experience in operations, vendor management, or process optimization. Excellent communication and presentation skills are second nature to you, enabling you to influence cross-functionally at various levels.
As a Policy Enforcement Manager focused on Violent Extremism, you will work closely with a global team from Policy, Enforcement, Product, Engineering, and Legal to safeguard YouTube's platform integrity. Your role involves mitigating risks and managing content trends to identify potential Community Guideline violations. You will execute strategies in partnership with various teams, ensuring that initiatives are clearly communicated across the organization. You will drive efforts to optimize tooling solutions and enhance the effectiveness of the Trust & Safety team. Your responsibilities will include analyzing data trends related to violent extremism, developing policies that align with legal frameworks, and collaborating with stakeholders to address escalations effectively. You will also be tasked with presenting findings and recommendations to senior leadership, ensuring that YouTube remains a safe space for users and content creators.
