Careem is seeking a Senior Data Scientist I to lead AI-driven projects that enhance user experiences and operational efficiencies. You'll work with Python, SQL, and various data technologies to build impactful AI models. This role requires strong expertise in data science and machine learning.
You have a strong background in data science with at least 5 years of experience in building and deploying machine learning models. Your expertise in Python and SQL allows you to manipulate and analyze large datasets effectively. You are familiar with big data technologies such as Spark and Hive, and you have experience with cloud-based data solutions like Amazon EMR and BigQuery. Your knowledge of business intelligence tools like Tableau enables you to visualize data insights and communicate findings effectively to stakeholders. You are a problem-solver who enjoys tackling complex challenges and applying AI to real-world scenarios.
Experience with geospatial data processing is a plus, as is familiarity with Agile methodologies. You are comfortable working in a collaborative environment and are eager to share your knowledge with others on your team.
In this role, you will lead projects that leverage AI to optimize user experiences and operational efficiencies across Careem's platform. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for data-driven improvements and develop machine learning models that address these needs.
