Skills & Technologies

AIJavaScriptPython

Overview

HubSpot is seeking a Staff Software Engineer for their Marketing Studio AI Content team. You'll work on innovative marketing software that leverages AI to enhance user experience. This role requires strong programming skills and experience in AI technologies.

Job Description

Who you are

You have extensive experience as a software engineer, ideally with a focus on AI technologies — you've tackled complex projects and set technical direction in your previous roles. Your ability to work autonomously while collaborating with cross-functional teams is a key strength, allowing you to drive impactful results. You are proficient in programming languages such as JavaScript and Python, and you understand how to integrate AI into software solutions effectively. Your experience in delivering high-quality code that meets user needs is evident in your past work. You are comfortable navigating the challenges of building software that serves a global audience, ensuring that the solutions you create are scalable and maintainable.

Desirable

Experience with marketing software or tools is a plus, as is familiarity with user-centered design principles. You have a keen interest in how AI can transform marketing practices, and you are eager to contribute to innovative solutions that enhance customer engagement. Your collaborative spirit makes you a great fit for a team that values diverse perspectives and teamwork.

What you'll do

As a Staff Software Engineer on the Marketing Studio AI Content team, you will write and ship production code that has a meaningful impact on user experience and business outcomes. You will envision, build, and analyze new features and tools that contribute to the company's growth and revenue. Collaborating with a small cross-functional team of engineers, product managers, designers, and researchers, you will ensure that the AI-generated content meets the highest quality standards. Your role will involve working closely with other teams across the organization to provide actionable, intent-driven assistance rather than just generic automation. You will be responsible for setting technical direction and mentoring junior engineers, fostering an environment of continuous learning and improvement.

What we offer

HubSpot offers a flexible work environment, allowing you to choose between office, hybrid, or remote work within the UK. You will be part of a team that is at the forefront of redefining marketing through AI, contributing to projects that have a global impact. The company values innovation and encourages you to bring your ideas to the table. You will have access to professional development opportunities and resources to help you grow in your career. HubSpot is committed to creating a diverse and inclusive workplace where everyone can thrive, and we encourage you to apply even if your experience doesn't match every requirement.
